Vice Premier Wang Qishan Met with Turkish Secretary of State Mehmet Zafer Cagla

Wang Qishan, Vice Premier of the State Council, met with Mehmet Zafer Cagla, Turkish Secretary of State, at the Ziguang Pavilion of Zhongnanhai in Beijing on September 27th.

Wang Qishan said, China-Turkey relations enjoy a long history, and in recent years the bilateral cooperation on all fields has been developing well. The two sides should strengthen communication and enhance trust, mutual understand and support on the issues of their respective core interest, and treasure and safeguard the precious favorable situation. Trade cooperation between China and Turkey has great potential. He hopes that the two sides can expand the practical cooperation in such fields as energy, transportation, finance, tourism, investment, project contracting, so as to realize win-win.

Zafer Cagla said, Turkey government will adhere to One China policy, and never intervene in China’s internal affairs. Turkey would like to strengthen trade and economic cooperation with China and create favorable environment, so as to boost further development of China-Turkey relations.
